- CUSTOMER NEED:
An 8.5-metre Axopar boat required protection for transport, with the covering extending from the waterline upwards. The packaging needed to protect the boat’s exposed surfaces against weather, road dirt and other transport-related contamination, while also allowing access underneath the cover and reducing the risk of condensation. - OUR SOLUTION:
HEAT³ used a custom-made heat-shrink cover manufactured to the dimensions and shape of the boat. Because the cover was prepared in advance, there was very little need for on-site cutting, shaping or joining of film. A zippered access door was added to provide entry underneath the packaging, together with ventilation vents to improve airflow and help reduce condensation. - CUSTOMER BENEFITS:
Two HEAT³ installers completed the packaging in just 45 minutes. The made-to-measure cover significantly reduced installation time while providing a tight and secure protective layer for transport. The zippered door allowed access without removing the cover, while the ventilation vents helped manage moisture underneath the packaging.

TRANSPORT PACKAGING FOR A JEANNEAU NC11
- CUSTOMER NEED:

HEAT³ installed a custom-fitted heat-shrink cover around the boat, creating a tight protective layer that followed the shape of the vessel. The packaging was prepared to minimise unnecessary on-site cutting and adjustment, helping the installation team work efficiently. - CUSTOMER BENEFITS:
Three HEAT³ installers completed the packaging in approximately one and half hours. The tightly shrunk cover provided secure transport protection while reducing loose material that could move during transit, resulting in a clean and professional-looking package.
WINTER PROTECTION WITH A PURPOSE FOR AN ALUVENTURE 11000 H3
- CUSTOMER NEED:
An 11 × 3 metre Aluventure 11000 H3 Edition required reliable protection for outdoor winter storage. In addition to protecting the boat from weather, dirt and moisture-related risks, the customer wanted the packaging itself to support a wider cause by drawing attention to cancer fundraising. - OUR SOLUTION:
HEAT³ covered the boat with a distinctive pink heat-shrink package and added campaign stickers directing people towards cancer-related donations. A zippered access door was installed for convenient entry underneath the cover, together with ventilation vents to improve airflow. Moisture-absorbing bags and mould- and corrosion-inhibiting products were also placed inside the cabins and wheelhouse to provide additional protection during long-term storage. - CUSTOMER BENEFITS:
The solution combined physical protection with moisture management and easy access throughout the winter storage period. Ventilation, moisture absorbers and protective inhibitors helped reduce the risk of condensation, mould and corrosion inside the boat, while the zippered door allowed inspections without removing the cover. At the same time, the highly visible pink packaging turned the stored boat into a platform for supporting cancer fundraising.

CUSTOM SHRINK_WRAP PROTECTION FOR A WORKBOAT HULL AND PILOT HOUSE
- CUSTOMER NEED:
A 20.3 × 6.1 × 3.0 m workboat hull and its separate 9.7 × 4.4 × 3.55 m pilot house needed reliable protection for transport. As the packaging had to be completed outdoors, the solution also had to be practical to install under changing weather conditions and strong winds. - OUR SOLUTION:
HEAT³ used custom-made heat-shrink covers manufactured to the dimensions of both the hull and the pilot house. Preparing the covers in advance reduced the amount of cutting, joining and adjustment required on site, making it possible to protect both large structures efficiently even in challenging outdoor conditions. - CUSTOMER BENEFITS:
One (and half) HEAT³ installer completed the packaging of both the workboat hull and the pilot house in approximately eight hours despite strong winds. The tightly shrunk covers provided secure protection against weather, road dirt and other exposure during transport, while the made-to-measure solution reduced on-site work and helped achieve a clean, tightly fitted package.
