- CUSTOMER PROBLEM:
The pitched-roof modular houses had to be protected against dirt, scratches and other surface damage during transport. Packaging time was limited, as the houses needed to be prepared shortly after construction was completed. The customer also required continued access to the building after packaging. - OUR SOLUTION:
As battens and screws could not be attached to the house, we installed a separate bottom film underneath each module. The custom-made HEAT³ EasyPack™ cover was then heat-welded to the bottom film, creating a fully enclosed package. We also installed a zippered access door in line with the building entrance so the customer could enter the house and operate the hydraulic lifting pumps required for transport. - CUSTOMER BENEFITS:
2 HEAT3 installers packaged each module in approximately 55 minutes, helping the customer meet a tight dispatch schedule. The sealed packaging protected the house from transport dirt and scratches, while the bottom film prevented the walls from becoming exposed as the cover shrank. The zippered door also allowed access without removing or damaging the packaging.

- CUSTOMER PROBLEM:
Four modular houses required protection during transport, as there was a risk of damage to their high-quality façade surfaces and large glass areas. Any damage could have resulted in additional work at the destination, including repainting or replacing façade elements. Due to the design of the exterior, battens and screws could not be used to secure the packaging. - OUR SOLUTION:
A separate bottom film was placed underneath each module to provide a fixing point without attaching anything directly to the façade. The glass surfaces were first protected by the customer with polystyrene boards, after which HEAT³ installed the custom-made packaging around the building and sealed it to the bottom film. - CUSTOMER BENEFITS:
Two HEAT³ installers packaged each house in approximately 40 minutes, allowing all four modules to be prepared efficiently for transport. The houses arrived in very good condition, with no transport-related damage to the façades or glass. As a result, no repainting, façade replacement or other corrective work was required at the destination.
11 MODULES (ab. L13,3 x W6,75 x H5m) NURSERY BUILDING (FINLAND)
- CUSTOMER NEED:
The customer was constructing a large nursery building consisting of 11 modules. The modules needed to be stored outdoors for an extended period during winter and later transported several hundred kilometres. As the sides were still open and the ground-floor modules had no permanent roof covering, they required reliable protection against rain, snow, wind, dirt and other exposure throughout both storage and transport. - OUR SOLUTION:
Before packaging, the customer installed timber supports along the centre of the ground-floor module roofs to create a slope towards the edges. This helped prevent rainwater and snow from accumulating and placing excessive weight on the roofs. HEAT³ then installed custom-made covers around each module and added zippered access doors, allowing the customer to enter, heat and inspect the modules without removing the packaging. - CUSTOMER BENEFITS:
The packaging provided continuous weather protection during long-term winter storage and remained secure throughout several hundred kilometres of transport. The access doors allowed the customer to monitor conditions inside the modules and respond quickly if condensation appeared beneath the cover. Three installers packaged each module in approximately 1.5 hours, providing an efficient solution for protecting all 11 units.
